Would you like to make a difference in the Newark community? UCC has a variety of volunteer opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Ways you can help include tutoring students at our after-school program, assisting with our food pantry, serving meals at our homeless shelter, leading workshops for our senior citizens, organizing clothing for our boutique or food items for our food pantry, and more. We are happy to coordinate with schools or other organizations to record your service hours. Additionally, we may be able to compensate you for your time with a food package from our pantry or item from our clothing boutique. If you are interested or have an idea for a service you could provide, please contact us at email@example.com, giving your name, phone number, hours available, and area of interest.
Our many initiatives to serve the most vulnerable people in Newark need your help to continue and flourish. Your tax-deductible contribution may help us to fund a job training class for people staying in our homeless shelter, to stock our food pantry, or to create enriching programs for the children in our after-school program, which help to bridge the education gap. When you give to United Community Corporation, you are changing the lives of Newark residents, and funding programs that empower people to escape poverty and support themselves.
Can you make a contribution to help us serve Newark residents in need? No donation is too small to make a difference. We appreciate your generosity.
If you are interested in donating food, school supplies, toiletries, or other goods, please contact us at 973-642-0181 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
